The Process:
Inspirations
The creation and ideas that were thought out through this project are such as a well known painting made by Edvard Munch. This was considered to be one of my inspirations due to how weary and how it includes some type of movement due to the colors and the type of ways the picture moves and depending from what perspective you see it. I chose to do this painting due to the fact that fantasy life is never the same as reality, to how there has been things in the past that has happened that not only as artists realize but as a young teen how we are able to realize that we soon enough will grow. However this has been one of my big inspirations not only towards this project but how someone who grows up will soon realize that we are living in a cruel and dreary world even thought that some may not realize it.

The following images that are included were two of my most inspiring images that I myself have made me create what I have done myself towards this project. Not only did this inspire me but it gave me the idea that something so famous and well known for can be modified to things that nobody would ever think of. In which the ideal thought that cartoon themed images added to well known paintings by famous artists are actually a great way of showing a contrast between two completely opposite styles.

PlanningThroughout my planning I did not do as much as planning as I should have in which I went straight to trying to copy the background of my inspiration and started adding very differently objects and thinking of ideas and characters that I could add on to it as well as when creating this art piece I chose to do differently colors. The reason to why I decided to change the colors is because it gives it a whole differently way of seeing this painting in which not only is able to convey a new meaning but the fact that it gives a different tone and mood. Tone and mood is also a huge part of seeing paintings because of how precise images can be and how much one is able to look at if for.
However even thought that there are more planning sketches that should have been done I did encounter a very hard time being able to create a certain large scale of the railing in the art piece from Edvard Munch. It is certainly a very difficult way to create an image where the characters you see from afar are rarely visible in which led me to come back and re-drawing these images.

Another idea I got while making this was to not adding the characters that are in the background. Certainly it should have been added to both pieces, but the reason to why I did not do it is because of how personal it can be to someone deciding if people around you who surround you are whether people who will be there or not. In this case I chose not to include them because of how amazing it is sometimes that being alone sometimes is not the worst decision to do. This was also another reason to why I decided to not include them in my images.

Critique:
Compare and Contrast
Comparing my final result to my inspiration it really did not come as I wanted to but I will say that I am satisfied with the idea I have in mind which is the fact that I want to convey the difference between reality and fantasy which is a whole difference. However the comparison that these two images are the fact that they reflect each other from one. This then leads to explain itself as to how some view the outside world compared to how older and mature people are able to view it.
Contrasting these two images I am able to say that the contrast between the two is similarly the same but the fact that from one another the color that they include are different as well as the format which it reflects one image from the other. However the two images are very likely the same, but even though the color, image format and tone they have are likely the same there are a few things that they are able to contrast from one another such as being able to view them differently.

Reflection
At the end of creating these sketches I feel that I was not fully satisfied with what I had but I did like the idea I had and if what I was creating. However if I was able to go back and edit some changes I’d do that as much as I can and edit those mistakes I may have made and create better edits and find ways I can make it better.
