Dry Point
The Process:
Inspirations
For my inspiration I found a few images in which somewhat depicted the previous photos I had taken of my own and can make these inspire me to creating a art piece like mine. Therefore I like the first image that inspired me the most due to the fact that it had a bright and morning feeling and how it can also show a few certain details from my image. In the column below this image was also another way in which also shows how similar the trees from my image come across like this picture.
Another image that I took into consideration being one of my inspirations would be such as a picture I took myself a Friday evening with a group of friends at the park. I took this image to be one of my inspirations as well as for this image to be my artwork and create my dry point as well. However I like the fact that as I was creating this image I found it hard but also a great way of practice in order to be able to recreate a certain piece of art that was taken from a photo into a hands on art piece.

Planning Sketches
For my process I tried to design the same image that I had previously taken myself, therefore I also was able to find other things I could add to my piece due to the fact that when I sketched this image I found it difficult to find something to add to the top of the image because of the sky being so clear and empty. Although that it was difficult I was able to add more clouds as well as small touches to my artwork. I was pretty confident and well thought it out of what I wanted and what I got as a result.

Tools & Techniques
Some of the tools that were used during this project:

Techniques
As for some techniques that I was able to use for this project were simple and not as complicated as I really thought it would be. However when it came to carving I found it that it needed to be precise and know that I was getting the exact amount of lines and for me to know that I am sure that I was carving in the correct spot. Afterwards when I was ready for me to start using ink and for me to finish the last steps to finish, I had to make a decision to know how much ink I wanted to use either if it was a lot or if I should have used less than what I needed. At the end I decided to use more ink where there was more carving into my piece rather than using more where there was not as much carving space, reason to why I decided to do this was because when I was using the ink on my piece I was able to make an observation that when I added ink to open space it would make the piece darker and it really made it look darker than how I wanted it to look like. What I did after was I added more ink to carved spaces in order for me to get the amount of dark and empty space for it to be well balanced. At the end I was very satisfied with what I ended with because of the fact that it was done how I wanted it to end like and with the amount of ink and spacing I wanted.
Reflection
After creating this certain art piece I learned that I need to find artists and for me to find some certain artists that I can know that I can get inspired with, however I also feel that I needed to time myself better and gotten on top of my work in which a big part that I feel that pushes me back a lot would be considered to be sketching, I find it to be a little difficult for me to find something I want to do and create it step by step, I take a lot of time doing this in which lets me fall behind.
What I liked about my finished piece was the fact that I was able to make a digital image from scratch and form it into a hands on art work and as hard as I found it to be I did my hardest best in order to make it visible to the audience.
What I wished to do better would be such as be able to take more time being able to draw my sketches again and add a little more detail and find ways in which I could have made my sketches visible and for it to stand out more.

Compare & Contrast
Compared to my final product and with my inspiration I feel that I could have done a better sketch for me to not only go more in depth but also be able to find a way for me to make it more of a detailed artwork. Reason to why I was not as satisfied was due to the fact that I wanted to make this piece of art seem more of an image instead of a copy of an image that was taken digitally. However I feel that my final product compared to my inspiration was a little similar because of how I tried to recreate the same image intro a Dry Point.
In similarity to my product and my inspiration there was a pretty similar relation between the two because of how I did the same image but drawing it from scratch as well as being able to see the image digitally and do my best to draw it as well as I can. Therefore I feel I did my hardest best to make this image look somewhat like the digital photo that I had included.

ACT Responses
Clearly explain how you are able to identify the cause and effect relationship between your inspiration and its effect on your artwork?
I am able to identify the causes and effects that I had between my inspiration and my artwork due to the fact that it was nearly the same amount of shading and sunset and due to the amount of detail that my image had and as well as how much detail both pictures had.
What is the overall approach the author has regarding your topic?
The overall approach I was having towards this artwork was such as for me to be able to draw one of my personal favorite images that I took myself and be able to show that any certain image that is taken can be taken and done in any other type of art form.
What kind of generalizations and conclusions have you discovered about people, ideas, cultures, ect. while researching inspiration?
The type of generalizations and conclusions that I was able to discover after finishing this project was such as that it is possible to create any sort of art piece that comes to mind as long as I as a young artist am able to put my ideas and thoughts to it, when I first started this project I felt that I would be unable to find a way in which I would be able to create this certain piece, in which this piece really told me a lot more when it has to do with the connection between art and photography.
What was the central theme or idea around your inspirational research?
The central theme to after finding my inspiration for my piece was such as that no matter how big something can be it will always be possible to create as long as we are able to put our heart and mind into it, I learned this through this piece that I created in which not only allowed me to have confidence to create anything I think of doing but as well as thinking outside the box.
What kind of inference did you make while reading your research?
The inference that I was able to make while reading my research was such as how will I be able to find a way to create certain techniques in order to make this certain image be able to look like a photo that was taken digitally and taken into a hands on art piece, I then realized that it was nearly impossible so I continued on creating this art piece and doing what I believed was best.
